No. He begged JJ after the show for a Screener . . .
I am boldly going with no
If not Gary begged the publicist and JJ for him before, during, and after the show . . .
Gary: "can you pleeeease give Howard a screener dvd of Star Trek?"
A couple of douchbags.
didn't he fuck up with super 8 ?
i remember there was some movie that got leaked with a howard stern water mark,
if it was super 8, that is a jj film.
would be pretty nervy of howard to ask for anything.
Did he give it a good review? Havent heard today's show yet?
[h=2]Does anyone think Howard went to a Star Trek screening?[/h]
Forgive me for name dropping but I went to the industry screening in LA two-three weeks ago and saw Ralph. Wasn't 100 percent sure it was him until I saw the berry.
how was the movie?
if it meant watching it for free? Of course. gotta keep those marbles close.
No way Howard got a screener
Remember SUPER 8
If it was an industry screening for the movie (like for SiriusXM) I could see him going if it wasn't in public. I thought I heard O and A mention that they had a showing last night. I could see Howard (begrudgingly) going to something like that.
O&A went (minus Opie because he was sick). Howard would never go to something like that as he might have to have some normal human interaction.
Ralph tweeted about Star Trek within minutes of Anthony tweeting about it. Which makes me think Ralph and Howard were at the same screening that Anthony and Roland and some others were at. But who knows. I should ask someone who goes to these screenings how many people usually show up. I know a ton of the SiriusXM employees end up going. But it has to be for more than just SiriusXM employees and probably has other NY press people.
Jimmy kimmel got a screening before wiggy
It was damn solid. Some stuff I can bitch about -- Like the never-shows-any-emotion Spock eventually showing lots of emotion. Yawn. Or Spock's "hot" romance with an Enterprise crew member having less spark than Michael Jackson/Lisa Marie Presley's -- but ultimately it's a fun ride. Not gonna change the world but definitely a crowd pleaser. Great action segments, couple of cameos, etc. And even though he doesn't have all that much to do, Bones 2.0 steals every scene he's in.
