I clean the damn wheels and the next day the fronts have dust on them. I'm gonna get ceramic pads next time but until then, does anyone use any of the dust repellents or anything to keep their wheels clean longer?

I have a bag of that in my garage. I put it down in my yard last year when a soil test showed it was deficient. It lasts longer than the iron in fertilizers or Ironite.

peachy - have you ever in your life checked out your own wheel rims? the only ones I've given a passing glance to are those hanging from tree branches, set up against the edge of a road or ditch or that some guy walking is waving. and even then I just look and think, well damnit I would no damn clue if that was mine or not.

No disrespect to gwart, but this must be a penis thing. like the lines in grass.

It's not that big a deal but when you spend hours cleaning your car and then the next day the car is clean but there is a little black dust on the front wheels, it get's irritating. If you don't clean it off pretty quick, it gets gummy then you really have to scrub to get it off. I do a lot of stop and go driving so I probably get it a little worse than some cars. I'd be in pretty good shape if this was the worst problem in my life.
