Want to gauge interest and see if this will work. I enjoy crossword puzzles, and next to me I have one that I have yet to start, so I thought "Why not see if the 'shed can fill it out?"

I'll list off the clues in whatever order I see fit, and include the letters that have already been discovered in the answers when applicable. Please don't make a mockery of this by cheating.

For the uninitiated, this type of crossword puzzle has a theme, and about 6 of the 145 answers will be "long answers" that have to do with the theme. Usually there is some word-play involved.

I like to start out with pop culture clues, because they're usually more straightforward than the ambiguous "clever clues".

Are you ready? This weeks theme/title:

    C BATTERY

116 down: "Ghost" psychic <blank> Mae Brown - 3 letters.

And remember, answers aren't always one word. They can be multiple words

"A lean" is correct. So is "Oda" Mae Brown. I'll be sure to notify of correct answers from here on out.

    Next clue:

I encourage you to go the Yanks game, but be sure to come back and check in on your smart phone during the 7th inning stretch. Shit should be wild by then!
