    Hey, Hey, Hey,

Today was a pretty typical Saturday for me. Did some work, went to a few yard sales and thrift stores and made one of the dishes that utilizes a lot of leftover stuff in the refrigerator.

    On Tonight's Menu:

Frittata & Toasted Bread - Spinach, Bacon, Tomatoes, Basil, Red Pepper, Garlic in an Egg and Cheese Batter with Toasted Bread with Herbs and Roasted Garlic...

...and a song that is one of the best ballads you'll hear on Oldies radio by one of/if not the best singer you'll find on Oldies radio, its Roy Orbison with "Crying":

Feel free to talk about your food and music. Tomorrow will be the final installment of Oldies week where I will reveal my favorite song that you'll find on a typical Oldies radio station.

I'll be here for a little while and I'll be drinking some beer. Hope everyone is relaxed and having fun as well. :toptip:

Played in the snow with the missus today. Weve topped off at about two feet

Ordered pizza. We may go out for a frieds birthday, but he is wishywashy on where he wants to go...not really stressing about it, as it feels like a "stay in" kind of night.

    Listened.

I work for the cable contractor part time/commission and the thrift/record thing also supplements my income too. I usually pull in enough from thrifting to pay my rent and a good portion of my utility bills.

    My latest finds:

A bunch of various vintage rock t-shirts(I have a guy who buys them from me)...like Alice Cooper, Rush, and Judas Priest

A dozen vintage men's button up shirts with some interesting patterns

30 obscure 80's records (New Wave, Power Pop, Metal, and a few Joy Division albums that I already own)

A bunch of obscure label 78's

On of my best find in the past year was an early edition of "To Kill A Mockingbird" that I bought for $2 and sold for $485

If you have an eye for it, you can make a ton of money.

..and to answer your question...Yes, it is also a hobby. I'm an avid collector of records, first/early edition books, weird antiques, and vintage clothing...I'm my own best customer. :)

That's got me drooling! And I'm a big fan of RO, but it took David Lynch to remind me:
