Doesn't Howard fighting his fans remind of Napster v Metallica?

    maybe its just me ..

    Time Line...

AGT announcement = SFN shut down

AGT season 2 for Howard = Howard's twitter bully statement and a new SFN crackdown on BULLYS

fucking beyond transparent..... why? spin , spin, spin..

This is reminding me of Napster v. Metallica.... the more Metallica tried to paint their fans as thieves the more and more they looked like greedy douche' bags..

and in the end they just ruined their good names

Howard is on the same path but he is calling his fans BULLYS blaming them for his pain this after buying a 52 million dollar mansion ... and for someone that is king of all media... he

    sure seems to be

struggling with this internet social media / fan site thing...

When will these multi multi multi millionaires learn to leave good enough alone?

No. Metallica was right. They saved what is left of the music industry.

The question should be who sold out faster Howard or the owner of Napster

Other than it is a stupid public move that will only blow up in his face in terms of his public image like it did for Metallica, I see little similarities.

Although Metallica handled it really badly from a PR standpoint, they were fighting against people stealing from them. They own that music and deserved to be paid when people acquired it. They were in the right for what they were doing although it made them look like they were shitting on their fans. Metallica's beef was with Napster and not the fans. The fans were just caught in the crosshairs.

Howard, on the other hand, did shit on his fans and expected them to blindly follow him as he tried to Disneyfy his image while putting in zero effort in his show and delivering a shitty product all while they had to pay for the right to listen to him. He censored fans from calling him out and declared he would piss on his fans if he wanted to. When the fans finally got to him, he pissed on them more calling them cyberbullies and threatening going to war.

:jj: And what might that be? Autotuned garbage and kneegrow noise? Metallica hasn't put out a great album since Justice, and the music scene has sucked ever since the faggot "alternative rock" shit came out in the mid 90's.

They haven't saved shit.. after napster, even more powerful file sharing programs came out, now torrents are king. And IRC/Usenet has always been there.

Disagree, he looks far better for his age than Howard (and I can bet he hasn't had the plastic surgery budget of Captain Pelican) and that definitely isn't a wig. His last album wasn't half bad, either. He's also very cool to his fans, and not a sell out at all, considering the rest of The Misfits have been begging him to do a reunion for years to get the payola.
