Stern Show Doesn't it seem like they finally woke up to how bad the show became?

They really seem to be trying to stir shit up lately.

Ronnie's shotgun-to-the-head engagement today was such a set up to get people talking. And it worked. The most stern threads I've seen since I joined (except for Emily in the post).

But it is really just show how much they are grasping for relevance. And I am enjoying watching this ship go down.

I feel like, in a sick way, watching them have to scramble to still feel important is the perfect way this ends.

And finally worth it for Sirius. The meltdown should be spectacular.

Show still is mostly PC. I mean , I guess The Stern show is "shocking" these days , if a 65 yr. old man gets engaged to somebody 30 yrs. younger ...

Over the past couple weeks, people have posed a few threads saying the same thing, that it would seem as though Wiggy and Co are trying to improve the show.

I havent been listening but they said that there were fewer long, drawn out, boring, mind numbing interviews.

And that they were focusing more on the staff, making fun of JD etc.

Sirius knows exactly how many people are listening to which show and for how long.

Theres no doubt that Wiggy's ratings have been tanking. Sirius has probably taken note and there may even be pay for play incentives or penalties tied into his new contract.

Its my guess that hes being "forced" to do something.

I'm not saying it's good. I'm saying they seem to be trying very hard and failing. And I'm enjoying the failure as it seems uncomfortable to them.

You're trying desperately to justify your point and frankly, it sickens me.
Show is over, just stop already

I listen to the Stern show...and I am sad for the days I closed the door to my office b/c I was laughing so loud.

Beth O Giftscriptions were the beginning of the end.

The Sirius Executives read Howard the riot act before he signed the new deal.

    Totally .
There's no doubt there was a moment in that room before Howard signed a deal ..that they talked about the "content".

Duh, I know it's over. But by good fortune I have been able to be leisurely in my life these days and love to hate listen in the am. Just reporting that they are drowning, I am enjoying it. And you sicken me as well.

Their customer service must be taking constant beatings from Howard fans over the years.

I bet it's way under 1mil a day for a live show from 7am until he signs off..
On Demand and set to record are where his numbers are "higher".
