What the fuck is a couple dollars a month?
Well, to you, someone in ole Louisiana?
That's like a WHOLE watermelon!
Fuckin' rip-off artists, I say!!!!
who is too lazy to buy buy razors at the store?
a lot of people really like it. i don't use it (because i prefer a straight razor) but many of my FB friends (mostly the men) love it.
you don't use them because you're too lazy to go to the store. you use them because their blades are just as good as the brand names (eg. Fusion) but costs pennies compared to the brand names.
I usually buy fusion blades at sams club. In reality they cost a few cents a day. I am frugal but I look at the total cost I spend per month on things when trying to save a buck. I wonder how many people trying to save money on these blades smoke etc and blow 100-200 bucks a month on cigs, but think they are saving lots of money on blades.
...electric norelco trumps all that shave shit with blades and shave cream.
sure it does
It sounds like a good concept except i wont buy anything that Wiggy pimps out during his "commercial free revolution" on principal.
...it does. shaves as close as a blade without the mess. i use to shave with razors but the norelco is a lot better for me anyway.
i don't see your point: if you have a certain amount of money to spend each month, why not spend less on some things so you can spend more on the things you like?
I use safety blades; 30 excellent quality german blades costs $18.00 and lasts me 30 weeks. I could use Fusion or a similar blade and spend about $150 in 30 weeks, but why do it when i can reallocate the $120 saving to something I don't need but like. plus my straight razor blows away those 5 or 10 edge blades (and electric razors can't hold a candle to even a dull straight razor) which are 90% marketing hype and packaging anyway?
as long as you qualify what you said with "for you" then i don't have an argument, but you didn't say that in your earlier post.
you must not have a real beard. they don't work worth a shit on guys like myself that have a thick beard that grows fast.
...different strokes for different folks.
I just shave in the shower, that shit doesnt even need to be sharp.
For years, I would shave with one of these.
Problem was, they were a bitch to clean and after 4 months I would end up half razor blade shaving.
So now I use this. It cost about $11 for 8, which works out to $17.50 a year.
I shave every other day, so about 15 times a month.
So I use one razor per month.
We have some people who "help" around the house.
Exactly how is it cheaper to ship someone blades monthly? You can buy about 50 in a pack at Costco for cheap. And who exactly is man enough to be wearing out all these blades so fast that it's a major expense?
