I'm in a quandary about getting tix to this performance. It's the same place Joan Rivers appeared this past January and I wish I would've gone. Love Joan more than Don, but he's a comedy legend, too.

Shit, I could drop dead by 1/17/15, but I think the odds favor Rickles and there are no cheap seats left. Wonder what @MrWarmth would do....

If you have seen him before, or seen the HBO movie showing his act, you will be disappointed. He always does the same show. Don't get me wrong, it's a great show.

Rickles is an overrated hack. So unfunny. "Mean" comics are so boring.

I saw him in 2012 @ the Westbury Music Fair on Long Island. (and paid a hefty sum I must add) The man is a legend but at the time he was so old it was actually a sad sight to see. He could barely walk on stage, sat down for the whole show, sang some old songs (Yankee Doodle among others) and rehashed some old jokes. If you just want a last peek at the legend in his twilight years then you may want to attend. If you're expecting anything like the old witty Rickles who spars with the audience then sadly you will most likely be disappointed.

I saw Rickles twice back in the 90's when he opened for Sinatra. Both were ancient even back then. Frank's voice was gone and Don told the two of the same jokes twice during his act. I knew they were both past their prime, but I went because they were legends both on their way out. I appreciated them for what they once were, not the performers they currently were. If you've never seen him, then go, but keep in mind your not seeing the Rickles from the '60s & '70s. Obviously he's not gonna be around much longer, so it's now or never.

Why don't you get a horse and live in the mountains and don't bother anybody?

Eeevvvrybody wants to be able to say "I was there when he dropped dead on stage".

Be sure and tweet us a good pic of the bottom of his shoes.

I read reviews of his shows and he sits down, plays videos of Tonight Show appearances and is generally out of gas. Too bad I could not catch his Las Vegas act in the 1960's and 70's. It was really sad watching Rickles using a cane on his Letterman appearance this spring.

This was a GREAT appearance on the Tonight Show with Frank Sinatra guest hosting in 1977. Nice collection of stars on the sofa; Archie Bunker, Police Woman and God
