A high school teacher in California has been arrested on suspicion of having a sexual relationship with one of her male underage students. Shannon Fosgett, 44, a former science teacher at Murrieta Valley High School, is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with one her students. Police say the relationship between the pair reportedly began with after-hours texting that escalated to them having a sexual relationship. The blonde beauty resigned from her job Wednesday, one day after being placed on leave by the school district. According to a police statement, the alleged relationship came to light after it was brought to school officials by other students. 'The minor told detectives that one of his teachers began showing interest in him over a year ago, which started with after hour texting,' the statement read. 'As the relationship grew, the minor and the teacher engaged in oral sex and ultimately sexual intercourse.' She was arrested Friday and charged with one count of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor under 18 and two counts of oral copulation with a minor. Fosgett has been released on $40,000 bail and she is scheduled to appear in court January 29, 2016.
