I'd like to be euthanized a-la-carousel in Logan's Run, but not till I'm 68.

Although I feel there should be some sort of way to "put people to sleep" when they are nearing the end and in incredible pain, I think he took a little
    too much glee in it.

    Agreed 100 percent! :lo5:

I wouldn't mind getting a PhD in death, though. I'd call myself Dr. Euthio.

Anyone can end their life at any time. I'm against having someone else decide when that time is right

The man might have creeped people out but he was a hero to me. To deny anyone the right to die without pain and die with dignity is wrong.

Ever see anyone die of cancer? Horrendous pain and they are whacked out of their mind on morphine, which then fucks with their digestive system. Just a horrible way to die. One day this man wont be vilified rather looked to as a pioneer or crusader.

And yes, the woman in logan's run was hot, check out those legs.

He didn't really, people came to him. He gave them a painless, clean way to die. Beats blowing your brains out and leaving that mess and vision for your family.

I've seen 3 people (family members) die of cancer. Two were horrible, months of suffering with no hope of ever recovering. Neither of them chose to die, although the means were always available. A double or triple dose of morphine and adios.

We really don't need anyone assisting in killing us because we're sick and want to die

I had no opinion on this until i watched my dad die of cancer that spread through his body , And the last 6 months he was taking enough Morphine to kill a horse from the pain. And my wife's grandmother who didn't know who or what anything was and every organ in her body dying before she did in her final year from Dementia/Alzheimer's.

I would rather end it at their point then go through and put my family through the hell they went through.
