I read a comment recently that Beth came from a nice, well respected family. I thought everyone was aware that her father plead guilty to felony fraud for submitting claims for surgical procedures he never performed and subsequently lost his license to practice dentistry. Beyond the fact that he was stealing his crime shows tremendous greed and disregard for others. Here he's an oral surgeon, a profession that pays very well, with a wife that is a real estate agent so they've got to be making nice money but he's not OK with that and decideds to rip off the working people of the country, who fund the insurance company he defrauded, for some extra cash. No wonder Howard gets along with him and that Beth treats commoners like dirt. Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (PA) December 17, 2001 SENTENCINGS FOX CHAPEL Probation for fraud A former oral surgeon from Fox Chapel was sentenced in federal court last week to three years of probation for health care fraud. Robert F. Ostrosky, 60, was a licensed oral surgeon who created a false claim for payment for extensive oral surgery procedures which he did not perform in order to receive $8,600 from Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. In addition to the probation term, Senior U.S. District Judge Gustave Diamond also sentenced Ostrosky to six months of home detention and ordered him to pay a $10,000 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.
