    I enjoyed it too, but probably way too late for a sequel. In Bram Stoker's novel, Dracula had been a very fierce warrior in life, so this doesn't stray too far (although pretty darn far). C+

    seems like a movie that would be forgotten. the ending made it seem like a sequel might be bad but it was an intentional open ended finale. It should have ended 5 minutes earlier with his whole kick ass crew still with him.

    They say that the old Universal monsters are coming back in a shared universe. Like the Marvel movies

    The hope is that Dracula Untold is the "Iron Man" of the universe and that it all starts here

    We caught it on HBO and I was surprised how much I liked it. Exceeded my (modest) expectations.

    I enjoyed it as well. It was supposed to be the tent pole kick off film for a complete set of Universal Monster films.....I wonder if they are still planning to continue?

    Mummy with Tom Cruise comes out next year from Universal. Dracula bombed so any hopes of that being the tent pole is lost.
