Can you fall in love with someone you've never met in real life? Poll to follow
oh fucking christ this is gonna turn into a Chiva Sofondacox hangout thread now.
only for Suzy
I think you can be in lust with someone you've never met but can you really love someone without spending time with them irl?
They have their strap on thread
I'm in love with jessica Alba...I've never met her or even talked to her, but I'm sure it's love
I believe you can become infatuated with the idea or illusion that you create of an online personality. Love? No..
You can fall in love through a "message board" community. I'm living proof and we've been together since 2006.
Obviously, you need to meet eventually to be sure the physical connection is as deep as the emotional one.
I fully support people exploring this opportunity for happiness. This world has billions of people in it so think about how rare it is to really find someone you connect with on so many levels. Chances are they might not be living right next door. They might be half a world away. (r.e.m. nod)
Slippy is my love pump. She's working the Graveyard Shift here and I miss her.
You are so fucking cute, I swear
sure why not
the question is about love, not down-in-the-mud, monkey lust like between Chiva and Cheri
I'm just not sure that the "relationship" can ever go to the next level, emotionally and obviously physically, without ever meeting in 3D.
Love? Don't know.
Lust? Hell yeah.
She gives me warm fuzzies.
nobody looks good in those stupid glasses..3D won't work either.
Essentially you're asking if you can fall in love with one's personality, and...of course!
Thanks, I think.
I concur. The people need to meet eventually. We met in person about 6 months after we started chatting online.
