Just had an earth quake here in the bay area (east bay) along the Hayward fault
Being in an earthquake is on my bucket list.
Is 4.3 big? On my phone and don't wanna google.
Here it is:
...its big for the hayward faut, that break in the soil runs for mies. i think thats the fault that runs right truh the berkeley foolball field.
Been over 150 years which is the average for a big one on the HF we are way overdue
More people live near this fault line than any other.
Were you awake already when it happened or did it wake you up?
In Oakland they call it Erff-Kwake n shit.
Memphis is due for one. A recurrence of the big one of 1812 that made the Mississippi River flow backwards and create Reelfoot Lake and made church bells ring in Philly. We're all gonna die. So I've got that going for me, which is nice.
Waking up to an earthquake is badass
only one I have ever felt hit at 6:30 am. Sounded just like a train coming, then the shaking hit, then the sound went away with the shaking. South eastern MA doesn't get them often so it was pretty freaky.
