He used a tele and a strat on many Yes tunes, but mainly an ES 175.
Gibby or Epiphone?
What type of pickups?
What type of strings?
I love guitar threads
I used to think he was a God when I was a kid. I watch his solos now and I'm still impressed but there are many better players out there these days.
Oh I agree but I had a hard time finding anyone that played a tele for my spinoff thread. I don't think he'd land in my top 10.
One of my fave Telecaster players...
This man could do amazing things with a telecaster.....
When I first moved down here, he played everywhere. Loved him.
Albert Lee swore by The Tele.... always did it justice with an incredible velvet touch.
Well done, dude. I tried to come up with a telecaster spinoff thread but I couldn't figure out who to replace Howie with.
What's wrong with you people? I just dropped 2 in a row.
Doh! I was thinking the original thread referenced Howie Long and I was trying to come up with something related to Howie. But yeah, there's a ton of killer Tele players out there.
When I think of Jimmy

Early Jimmy was Telecaster. Money Jimmy was EDS 1275.
What about this dude?
