Jury's still out on that. Body parts found floating in the Mediterranean are not that uncommon.

but in all honesty i think this might be something initiated by the flight crew...my second theory would be maybe some sort of incendiary device in the forward cargo hold...not a full on bomb but something that may have caught fire..

The media reported this morning ACARS data reports of smoke alarms from the lav and electronics bay, and also several cockpit window sensors on the co-pilot side went off. The window sensors indicate to me either an explosion inside the cockpit, electronics bay or lav, or a missle strike on the outside of the cockpit, blowing out those windows

The media is not at all focusing on the the window sensors.

    See this article:

    I'm going with shot down.

Apparently, it flew right thru Phoenix Express 2016.

Greek officials said it was taking "evasive action" prior to going down.

More likely smoke in the cockpit and the windows being opened manually (combined with an attempt to reduce altitude) in an effort to clear said smoke from the cockpit.

    This.
Damaged flight controls after explosion and the plane spun into the ocean.
The passengers had a very wild ride.
    RIP

I thought them same until I found out the windows sensors went off at 35,000 feet, and at speed...the pilots have oxygen and goggles to deal with smoke, opening the windows at that altitude would cause a rapid decompression and could crash the plane.
