i can see that any day, any time.
I can only see lightening hit the Empire State Building maybe 24 times a year, in a good year.
I was up there on Saturday
They have a lightning protection system all over that place.
yeah its a big lightening rod for the city. its still impressive when it gets hit. i think the building is anchored into the granite bedrock that is under Manhattan so it goes straight to ground.
another scene is when the lightening hits the Hudson River: there is absolutely nothing nearby and it hits in the middle of the water. I suppose there are cables beneath the water (or it is hitting the cast iron Holland Tunnel) that it uses to go to ground. Big boom and the air is ozone charged. when i take the ferry i am on the NJ shore watching when it hits.
does Cthulhu rise up from there? is that R'lyeh?
Monsoon season is gettin ready to kick off soon in Az
