Her yellow skin was a sign of the cirrhosis and deterioration of her liver.

Filled out a patient profile at the doc the other day. It asks about alcohol as always. This one noted that 7 drinks a week is considered 'Heavy'. I, uh , took a moment to count.

And of course they automatically double whatever you put down.

Seriously though, for those of us who like to 'party', the thought is...sobering. I don't want to go out like that.

I wonder if her co-workers knew she had a problem. I imagine she had to smell of alcohol sometimes. It's a shame that she drank herself to death. :sadbye2:

I wonder if she was an angry drunk - or if she was a party girl. Either can be hot.

I prefer my liver with onions, adding cirrhosis tends to make the liver tough.

You won't ruin your liver from a glass of red wine a day with dinner. (unless you have other liver problems) Red wine is actually good for you. A social drinker won't end up with a bad liver, meaning when you go out once a week or so. Alkies can't stop, that's why their liver never gets a chance to rest.

I'm glad I'm not a drunk. I never drink at home alone, sometimes I go a month without drinking just cause I don't think about it or need it.
