I was watching Anthony Cumia's absolutely hysterical coverage of the Emily Post article. He brought up that she had her stomach pumped at Jingle Ball years back, and one of his producers was at the hospital and saw Allison and Howard crying.. Apparently she took some drugs/drank too much and was rushed to the hospital to have her stomach pumped.

Ant said it speaks volumes of a person's character when they think the best way for them to live a happy life is to go from one extreme to another, from partying to the oppressive religious lifestyle that she lives today. Basically saying she is a looney toon thanks to HooHooHoo.

Even though I don't remember hearing about this, I am sure some of the savages from the Dawg Shed could fill me in on some more information on the story. What exactly is known/rumored about this?

& for anyone that hasn't read the Emily/Post article thread on this forum, I think this zinger was worth re-posting:

I am tempted to record the Emily segment from Anthony's show on my iPhone to post just because it was so great. Ants show clips are often put on YouTube and I think this clip is great advertisement for DawgShedders to join, so doubt it would get pulled. Maybe i'll put it on Vimeo so I can throw it in this thread.

I think he actually believes this. The middle one might be OK, but the oldest is a mental case and the youngest is either a druggie or really confused. Or both.

This happened in 1999, Emily would have been 16. It really shouldn't be something that you judge them by when they are an adult.

Not Opie and Anthony... Just Anthony. I don't think he really cares about Howard, Anthony doesn't really spend much time on him unless its a story in the news. Usually if he is talking about Howard its something positive unless its the AGT farewell video or something like this. He has all the former Stern staffers on the show.. Ant is great when he discusses Wiggy and is probably missing out on more subscribers by not attacking him, I am sure some Shedders would pay to hear him dissect Howard's show or his hypocrisies.

Thank you for the clarification, though.

no, I meant when the story occurred in the 90s. Opie & Anthony were like the only show to talk about it.

And yes, I'd listen more if he goofed on Howie. Everyone loves the hoo hoo impression.

Ant also said Krock told them not to mention it at all.
So they would play songs eluding to what happened.I cant remember which tunes though

I didn't do stupid shit as a teen, though I often reflect that not doing anything was, in fact, stupid.

I agree. I have done dumb things even when I was older than 16, I have no room to talk about anyone.

I never heard of the story before Ants podcast, thats why I was curious as to what happened.

I was just kind of agreeing that stupid childish shit you do at 16 shouldn't define who you are in your adult life... Ant talking about the extreme change of going from having your stomach pumped, to being so religious, is kind of stupid, regardless whether he had the right daughter or not... You reach a certain age and who you are, becomes who you are for the rest of your life. When you're a teen your opinions and beliefs are always changing, and you might look back on that time in your life, once you're older, and be embarrassed, it's just how it is....
