ESPN Suspended Linda Cohn, Let Jemele Hill Slide
Yep. Go to any predominately black website and unless you are part of the crowd those black people get called "coons" for not being fully vested in black causes.
Good article. Linda Cohn was fantastic back in the day.
“They definitely overpaid for many of these products, whether it’s the NBA or starting up networks like the Pac-12 Network and SEC Network,” she said on WABC’s “Bernie and Sid Show.” “It’s well documented … They [also] did not see that they would lose all these subscribers [to competitors like Netflix.]
But it was more than just that. Politics played a part, as did the network’s move away from strictly covering sports.
I felt that the old school viewers were put in a corner and not appreciated with all these other changes. And they forgot their core. You can never forget your core and be grateful for your core group.”
Every pseudo "celebrity" and work colleague at ESPN are coming to her Twitter rescue.
It's disgusting, especially knowing she has no talent and only rose to her top because of gender and skin color.
She's not backing down.
Any time Mrs. Cunt and I see a black comedian, we have a game where we guess how many seconds it takes them to mention their skin color. The over/under is usually around 20 seconds.
screw her.she knows they won't fire cause.......
You mean the president on Twitter, right?
That fucking cunt should be canned, no question. Since they fired Curt Schilling for less.
Worst of all, she's not even hot. If she was in for an old-school Stern show evaluation, she would barely even qualify for a spread in Hustler magazine, maybe Cheri. She looks like Aunt Esther from Sanford & Son with extra makeup.
So, all of you trump sycophants are just fine with him insulting and name calling everyone else, but the second someone says their opinion about your hero, they should be fired.
Trump has changed this country into a bunch of hypocritical self righteous weirdos. What's right doesn't just apply to what you agree with.
If you want to simplify it to just this occasion then sure but this isn't her first rodeo. She has also said that if you don't support kaepernick then you're a racist and that boston Celtics fans are like Hitler. Meanwhile ESPN has no problem letting people go for saying much less incendiary things. It's not about calling Trump a racist. It's about a talentless broad who has had 3 different shows canceled who is obsessed with race and dog whistles to the stupid. I hope she is the target of some funny college gameday signs.
She should not be allowed to keep her job for that. She's a public figure and represents her company whether she is on camera or at a family reunion. In most corporations, this kind of comment would reflect badly on the company and you would be fired. I don't think ESPN thinks that way. It's just my opinion but, if someone made a similar statement representing the far right, they'd get canned from ESPN in a minute. Normally, advertisers have a huge say in public perception. I think advertisers are afraid to threaten to pull out of ESPN because they'd be branded racist.
Having said that, Trump is not blameless on this. He has gone way overboard with the name calling and unsubstantiated accusations, which has in turn made this kind of statement more acceptable to some. The Right has made name calling into a fine art. Look at this place. The first thing you get when you disagree with someone is SJW, Snowflake, Cuck, etc. It's a substitute for actual reasoning and civil discourse.
Anyone who is overly concerned with pushing for someone to lose their job because of their political leanings is a bit misguided IMO. Neither side, left or right, has the monopoly in that regard.
With that said, it's fair to point out the hypocrisy of ESPN and their handling of these types of situations. Count me among those that wishes entertainment entities like ESPN could check their politics at the door and just stick to what they know. Even if I agree with their politics, I still find it distracting and/or tiresome. But they have a power structure there that is pushing an agenda and employing out of the mainstream radicals like Hill all the while their business is circling the drain. It's not the business decision I would make, but it's well within their rights to play it that way.
This stupid cunt is stupid. She needs to shut the fuck up. That being said, my company does boo-coo business with ESPN going on many years. This is their problem. woot woot!
Oh, look. A faggot.
