Well now you can with an app!

    usa-today-8349088.0.jpg
A new app released to fans in attendance at the Super Bowl will provide those at the game with an enhanced experience that provides those at the game with instant replays and the commercials that they are missing.

The NFL Mobile From Verizon app provides live streaming, scores, stats and articles for fans, but the stadium app is designed to serve as a complement for those at the game at University of Phoenix Stadium. Fans will be able to view replays from four different camera angles, see the Super Bowl commercials and look at seating and concession maps.

Also available for fans will be the official game program that will feature animated starting line-ups and rosters available for fans with tablets. Access to archived Super Bowl programs and video recaps of the 2014 season will also be available for tablet users.

The app is designed for those at the stadium, but will be made publicly available for anyone with Windows, iOS or Android smartphones.

The commercials are just as important as the game these days. What happened to us as a society bro? :bigcry:

I'm going to take the day off this year and watch at home. I've watched the last 14 Superbowls at work. This means I can drink beer. Which means I will be peeing during the commercials.

You're welcome any time bro. I don't recommend it in the winter though. It's pretty boring.

It's nice for a little while but by March I'm usually homicidal.

I used to love watching the Bud Bowl. We used to wager on it and root like assholes at the helmeted bottles.

    Good times.

Oh....and fuck the commercials. Stupidist goddamned marketing concept ever. SO much money, SO few results.

That's not a nice way to treat your mom. The woman that gave birth to you, lets you live in her basement and even changes your colostomy bag. She deserves respect.

Don't know how much higher the asking price is for Sunday but considering they were charging $4million for a 60 second spot last year and the huge production expenses required to create a impactful, stream-of-social-consciousness ad, big buck$ are at stake. Of course, if you end up spending $10-$15mil turnkey to get an ad aired, given that last year's version was watched by about 112million viewers, with the right target demographics, the direct expense involved is chickenfeed for the audience and subsequent buzz surrounding compelling and/or innovative ads. It's big fucking bidness and IMO this is another creative way to turn these ads into their own freestanding event.

I don't get all the hype with the commercials. Plus they show most of them a week before the Superbowl any way.
