I used to all the time. Great fun. Check this one out...
I built balsa wood airplanes when I was a kid.
ya, just to get high on the glue.
You know what had to go down on the 4th of July, right?
My uncle and I have several R/C planes.
I have an old school USS Enterprise model from childhood still in the box that I should put together someday...
i remember building model cars in my room and getting woozy on the glue fumes. was it that hard to figure out
Good clean fun. I haven't done one in years.
Just the snap together ones, though.
Good Montana winter project right there.
Same here. I would spend a week or so building one these damn things and then take it out and try to fly it. It would end up all busted up. I would go get another one. They were .89 to 2.99 depending how complex and large they were.
My son bought my husband these for Christmas. They're called Metal Earth, they're 3-D laser cut metal models. Extremely cool.
Those are pretty sweet!
They're super hard to put together.
They snap? Glue? I'd like to solder one of those together.
