I thought this was pretty interesting.
Addiction is physical, mental and spiritual. Once you detox, the mental drive to use is more powerful, as is the spiritual disconnect
Stop mlawsplaining. We already know all that.
I am addicted to chorizo, egg and bean tacos
@Schmoopy is still using
Even Stevie wonder can see that
Yeah, I'm going to believe some guy in a YouTube video. Ok.
I found it interesting that when rats were alone they chose the water with drugs, but when they were social and stimulated elsewhere they chose the regular water.
I'm not saying I think it's a revolution in addiction studies, but it was definitely interesting.
I think the rats just didn't want to share their drugs.
6 minute video
let me get another beer
I didn't watch the video but assume it just says that addicts are weak willed degenerates and we should go back to the good old days of not placating them by calling it a "disease"?
Boozers, drunks, losers, and fiends from now on?
I thought this thread was about math.
The whole video is five minutes worth of "hugs not drugs."
Or the old adage in a dope smoking social setting is "Don't hide it, divide it"
Now I wanna "connect" with my heroin dealer in Vietnam
