Today we will examine the 2013 Subaru BRZ
The combination of Subaru and Toyota technologies will make for a well-engineered, reliable car. Subie motor, Lexus trans... all good stuff.
With the rwd and power/weight ratio, center of gravity, etc should be a great addition to the drift/road circuits.
Still as far as overall power... I say call me when they release a turbo model.
Would drive. Lol Chrizer.
Wow. I would have thought that this car would be more expensive.
looks decent.200 hp seems a little weak.never drove a suburu in my life.price seems pretty good
If you saw the interior and the lack of refinement you would see why the price point is low. It is built to be a driver's car..for people who enjoy taking their car to the track or doing motorcross..more than a comfortable daily driver.
7. Beautiful but I only like Lexus when it comes to Asian cars.
how come i'm the only one that actually ranks
I heard rumors of a BRZ STI....we'll see.
"The future BRZ STI will feature a more powerful version of the current 2.0-liter flat-four cylinder ’boxer’ engine. The output will be raised up to somewhere in the 250 HP area (an addition of about 50 HP) thanks to the modifications made to the engine’s variable valve control system. That will also allow for an even higher rev limit of around 7,500rpm with the help of a new freer-flowing exhaust.
keep up the good work!
Considering the technologies that went into it I think the price is very reasonable.
Only about 200up which Is less that I'd expect but still a good value.
you can bet that if/when they release a turbo the price will have a healthy increase. But I'd think it would be worth it.
this is a Subaru/toyota collabo . has a Lexus trans.
Look above this quoted post...
BTW its being released as a Scion in the states. another reason they have to keep the price point low.
yep my friend has the Scion version..called the FRS. In the rest of the world it is the Toyota 86
Yea the power is my only gripe, esp at 2700lbs.
And it doesn't matter if you've driven a subaru, this is rwd. will be totally different. tho it'll probably sound the same.
looks OK, I'd give it a spin..
but I wouldn't trade.. my vee-dub in.
me neither bro
