Per Howard just now.
I always hated those. It was ok for a segment or 2, but Howard used to drag it on for days. A cheap way of doing reruns, now reruns of reruns.
Will they do best of F Emmys next Friday?
you ask that like you dont already know...
F Emmys were not bad back in the days when you didn't get endless replays. You'd get to hear good appearances from the past year.
Now that they have hardly any good radio to begin with, and tons of replays, they lose their appeal.
As "specials" go, this one doesn't seem too bad.
what is Howard taking a vacation from this time, not working?
He pretended to have no idea that he was off next week.. Eric (as usual) had to inform him
I wouldnt even care if he took time off if they did Live programing put that Tapes shit on 101 do live shows what the fuck is Howard afraid of that his employees might get offers to work somewhere else what an asshole. Or better yet run a Tapes Marathon on 100 and pack 101 with live shows from the staff or other people fuck record and cut down JD Fantasy football draft show anything is more entertaining then hearing the same OJ Simpson joke segment after segment fuck the tapes team
Did they ever do a "Best of Stuttering John" & Best of KC? Or we're they just lumped into the interns week.
Is it a 1 week or a 2 week vacation?
Do you see how much you have lowered your expectations? Now you long for shows by his inarticulate band of marginal thinkers, rather than quality entertainment by bright, funny, talented performers. How pathetic we've become.
They did the "Spotlights" during the first year. John, Jackie, Billy...I think each were played over 2-3 days.
When will he get around to the "Best of Artie Lange" that he promised?
Exactly. F Emmys were always just a way to fill time with a bunch of best of clips. The sad thing was that the best clip never won unless they could get the person in the clip on the show. So half the time it just set up an interview with yet another Whack Packer or some celebrity desperate to be on the show that they said yes to come on even if they had nothing to promote. Hence it used to be a lot of boring D-List celebrities.
i'm so beyond caring.
Don't forget, he had to ask gary if they were off. He also said that he never knows when they are off, and has shown up at the studio on days off because he doesn't know the calendar! Fuck this asshat
Ha, yeah. That was a good one. He also said that sometimes he just stands outside his building waiting for Ronnie to pick him up on his days off.
