They all truly seemed to enjoy their job and being on the radio. It was both fun and funny....

    Now? Not so much.... :grad:

I know this sounds douchey and self indulgent but did anyone catch to see if they aired my F-Emmy nominee for "Best Celebrity Fight" against William/Billy Baldwin from like 1999 or 2000?

I think Corey Feldman vs his father ended up winning. Other nominees were Wigward vs Dice, and Jackie vs Rodney Dangerfield. My guess is they DO end up airing it because Wigward actually ended up looking strong in this goofing on Dice Clay's floundering washed up career at the time.

Thanks man, I just poked into marksfriggin.com and according to it they aired "Best Celebrity Fight" from 1999 today (Wednesday 8/28/13) at 6:30am??? I think I may be able to get my paws on it if that's true. Here's the rundown...I highlighted it from Wednesdays.

WOW, my nom IS on there at 6:34am est from todays show! I'm introduced as "a listener" as the last nominee to go against Billy/William Baldwin. BUT Howard says "ARM" a few times in the argument so you can connect it to me at least through that. The whole award starts at like 6:28am est.

It was a wild process that day, I actually talked to Stephen Baldwin just before him goofing on Billy which prompted Billy to take the phone and scream about me.

That's so cool that you called the show and got on the air. I'm too mic shy to do anything like that but admire you for it.

This should make you eligible for VIP status at SFN.

I heard a call between Billy Baldwin and a caller that was busting his chops. I assume that's the one you are talking about. I think it was yesterday (Weds)

The special has been decent, but I hate theme weeks because they get to feel redundant.

Hahhahahahah YES, SFN would look for ANY angle to make someone a "VIP". I would've thought even this would qualify someone at a certain point with Mutt's far reaching HSS starphucking and wack-fudge-packing nature. As far as I'm concerned VIP will ALWAYS stand for "Valerie Irons Protection Agency".

Calling in to these shows IS very tough, especially at the beginning. Just the anxious frustration of waiting on hold or pitching yourself to a call screener is a load. You also don't know how much time you'll have, or what they can hear, or what YOU can even hear on your end because it's a soft sound on your phone. You're also at the mercy of the host (who's mic is waaaay louder than your voice on the phone) who can either dump whatever he wants, or just lower your volume like mine was even in the Baldwin(s) call.

Hahahhaha that's cool you picked up on that. He was sooo straining to find even a mediocre film and that Ron Howard fireman movie was easily the most high profile thing he had done, besides Julia Roberts.

YESSIR, right on the money, that was it. I got it on my other channel along with the original long form call it's spawned from.
