it's honest work
I just went through an eviction, they guy claims to have ALS---he moved his own furniture and drove the truck. When he showed up in court he used a wheelchair---fucking assholes
This is an educational video for Bronk Enterprises.
I predict many hot dogs in his future after the Stern Show ends.
If you willingly give a man money on the street there is not much you can complain about, right?
I hope you pulled the ole "Mike Brady" on him
i'm guessing this guy hasn't been declaring 60-100k of income on his taxes. he just crazy cabbied his retarded ass into major shit.
Good for him.
If people are stupid enough to throw coin at this fool - they deserve to have their money taken.
that's why america is the land of opportunity. beggars in other countries can't pull in nearly as much.
Anyone that gives money straight to homeless people is a fool. It all goes to drugs or booze. There is one pandhandler we always joke around with about how dumb people are to give him money. He has a sign that says "Disabled vet, needs to feed two children". he has no children and never served. Money goes straight to booze and heroin. He makes enough to get both every day.
I know some government worker who after retiring from their job at 50, apply for disability and get it, thanks to liberal government program to get people on government cheese. Now they are getting a pension and disability payment. Also their healthcare is free after being on disability. This is why good intentions with socialism never works. People always find a way to scam the system and bankrupt it.
the homeless in Riverside Park leave for work at 6am. They head up to Broadway and then off to their designated street positions where they hit up people for money. When I walk past them after leaving Zabar's they would stick their hands out and I would look at them and say "You don't recognize me? I live here: save it for the tourists." They laugh and focus on someone else.
There was a woman who used to play her guitar on the Wildwood, Nj boardwalk every summer. She had a sign that said she's homeless/hungry, she was raking in 70k a yr, oh and that was just from like May to September and with the rent a cops chasing her off all the time.
there are guys who show up at Penn Station every afternoon weekdays to beg for handouts. I'm certain these guys have regular jobs because they always show up between 3 and 3:30pm. I think they are NYC public school teachers. They get really upset when i turn them down.
I give money to them all the time.
Purely for selfish reasons though, because it makes me feel magnanimous.
Nothing wrong with that, if it makes you feel good more power to you. You still get the good karma because your heart was in the right place.
i figure they take home more than i do, so i don't.
They called me Agent Orange!
I went to Vegas back in March. I am a pretty nice person and have no problem throwing some cash to those who need it. We are at the end of Fremont St- I'm drunk as fuck (14 hours of fun) and this little guy comes up to me and says that he is a Vet and asked for a few bucks. I hand him 5 bucks. As I am walking away, I hear him mutter that 5 bucks was nothing. I walk back over to him and pull him into a side alley. (I know, not the smartest thing to do, but like I said, I was wastoid.) Anyway, I call him out and demand my cash back. He claims that it is for his mother. At that point, I walk out of the alley (10 feet) and start yelling for a cab. He wants to know what I'm doing, so I tell him that we are going to take a ride to his mother's house so I can see him give her the money. Excuses followed, and I gave him a drunken Bush "Fool me once" kind of thing. I'm so stupid...
