I've got anti-anxiety pills covered. Now, I have to figure out what to make, to go to this family reunion with.

EVERYBODY tries to show off, with their culinary skills. And it's always downright impressive. My cousin has shown me up twice, by providing a more impressive dish. Last time it was an Asian salad, with Mr. Noodles (top ramen) in it.........cheap - yet fucking delicious!

I have to bring something travelable............it's a 2 hour drive with no traffic.......and functional enough to last a night in the fridge before. AND I have to upstage my mother, brother, aunt and cousin.

I'm soooooooooooo open to suggestions right now.

If you're wanting to impress, but you don't want to bother cooking, just bring something from a nice bakery.

Finally, a decent answer. Thanks Fran............my mom has all of the cold salads covered though. I gotta think outside the box. She's got everything from potato to macaroni to coleslaw to greek to caesar.............I have no room there.

I was thinking meatballs stuffed with cheese, but that will be some serious effort on my behalf. There's going to be a shitload of people. I was hoping for some other options.

We always have those Grape jelly/Chilli sauce meatballs at family gatherings..those things are easy and damn tasty.
