Beautiful. It does bug me when people keep wild game as pets, though.

You're sad about an animal dying so you hope for human death?

I don't care either way. I don't hunt and I'm not a lion, so my way of life isn't at risk. Just thought it was strange calling for a human death. I guess I put humans above animals foolishly.

I have no issue with hunting or killing animals. However,I simply do not get killing for pleasure. Posting the fucking selfie as you pose with the dead carcass and your high powered rifle makes it even worse. In terms of strait ethics... I know why the animals kill and they generally do it out of necessity. These douchebag game hunters rank well below them for me.. but what do you expect, the guy is a dentist.

how disgusting. If I heard correctly, he shot the lion with an arrow, had to track him down, cut his head off and skinned it. Look at their smile. If you didn't see the poor dead lion, you'd think they are smiling at their child's college graduation.
People (including me) were outraged over the NFL football player that had dogs or rooster fights on his property. He went to jail. This is far worse to me. Can you imagine his animal trophy room in his home? Creepy

Yes. Not just any death, though; a short, drawn-out, tortuous death.

I don't agree with you, obviously, but l do see what you're saying. The problem l have is that l don't see people like the ones who'd carry-out such a heinous act, and then be all proud of themselves like they fought for their life 'til the death, as anything but garbage. I don't know much about the dude that did this, but l have a sneaking suspicion that he's more than likely to be a general, all-round piece of shit.

Tippi gets a pass, but the rest are kind of douchey...

    Tippi Hedren

Tippi Hedren is an actress and formal model who founded the Shambala Preserve in 1983 to provide sanctuary to exotic felines. Located in California, The Shambala houses approximately 70 animals including African lions, Siberian and Bengal tigers, leopards, mountain lions, bobcats and servals. Animals that are brought to Shambala are not bred, traded, or sold. They come to the preserve to live out their lives and receive the best food/nutritional, medical and human care available. Hedren who lives on site, conducts monthly tours of the preserve for the public. Her efforts played a significant role in convincing lawmakers to pass The Captive Wildlife Safety Act in 2003 limiting private ownership of big cats in this country. She also received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Humane Society of the United States.
