For those of you that enjoyed the first season of Fargo on FX like me... Looks like previews for Season 2 are up and it starts on October 12.

Different northern MN town and different story (set in the 70's)

I love Fall... football and new shows are back!!

After looking at the direction True Detective took, I sure hope they do a better job with this relaunch.

Fargo was one of the best show of 2014, I hope it will be on the same level, looking by the trailer it seems like there is a bunch of nice characters.

Patrick Wilson will be playing the same character that Keith Carradine played in S1, as a younger version.

Definitely check it out. Great casting and a lot of good old Fargo type stuff.

That 2 minute trailer is already better than any part of TD2 :fil:

This is an interesting fact... I like that S2 story will be different, but that there are still ties to someone in S1.

    Thanks for the intel!

Yeah- I think it will be interesting how they connect the storylines- from the fargo wiki:

"Season 2 will be set in Luverne, Minnesota, a small town east of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, during the winter of 1979. It will focus on 33 year-old Lou Solverson, originally played by Keith Carradine in Season 1, as a state cop recently back from his service in the Vietnam War. His daughter, Molly, will be four years old and his wife, Mrs. Solverson's, fate will ultimately be revealed. The story will depict the violent Sioux Falls incident that Lou often spoke of in Season 1."

Last season was great...having lived in Minnesota, I felt they nailed that whole north woods prarie thing. Great acting in it too.

I think I might give it a try, but I adore the old school vibe of this one. Season 1 was set in present day, right, which doesn't excite me as much.
