What will the Stern staff do?

Oh, wait - they are not working today.

What they should do anyhow, go to independent delis and diners, the food is better and helps keep small business going.

Fast food companies could pay their workers more just by using the funds they spend lobbying Congress

Give everyone a chance to give their child like palettes a rest for the day and eat some actual real food.
But I realize this would never happen.

That's the case with most every company. Government could pay their interns if they weren't the epicenter of waste and corruption.

Why don't the fast food industry get interns to work free.

They'll probably join them. Hampton's Howie pretty much pays them minimum wage too.

Looks like lawyers could pay their staff better too with their political contributions:

I don't think some fast food workers realize that that is not to be a job to support a family. It is an entry level job to get some work experience.

Went to Subway today. Everyone was working like good little fast food workers. They should realize that if they want 15 bucks an hour that the companies will pass it on to the consumer. And the day I pay for a 10 dollar sub is the day I go to a nicer joint than subway. :dontknow:

In related news, long-time Dawgshed Bar resident Chriza Chrizwinowitz found hanging from noose fashioned out of old braided burger wrappers in his cubicle.

Or if they are smart and a good worker a stepping stone to move up in the company and work towards a goal of owning their own franchise. I cleaned toilets in commercial buildings for two years when I was a teen and now own a successful property maintenance company. A friend of mine did the same thing and now is a multi-millionaire owner of a commercial development company. Two years at minimum wage just gave us the incentive to make more.
