    Paper magazines are going away but they were a huge part of my childhood. Digital magazines just aren't the same. I have a few subscriptions but most of the time I never even read them as they are out of sight and out of mind. Here were some of my faaavorites while growing up.

    my dad still buys the who's who in baseball every year
    one for him one for my kid
    pretty sure he purchases the only two copies they sell at the local bookstore

    "The Sporting News" was a staple for me. I read it from cover to cover. I also liked "Baseball Digest"
