I have quite a few.. This was about Ted Bundy. Anne Rule worked with him and thought he was just a regular good dude. Very good writing

I read Helter Skelter when I was WAYYY too young. I had nightmares for years..Written about The Tate Labianca murders by the man who prosecuted Manson and his cohorts...

Anything by Ann rule is good.

Have you read this, it's very disturbing. Probably the creepiest one I've read.

i tend to avoid true crime..... the fact that there's so much evil in the world depresses me.
i would say one of the best was "oh my dog" by a little known author.

That's easily my favorite! I can't get enough of this story to this day. It's utterly uncanny someone could infiltrate the NYC mafia for 6 years at the height of NYC crime in the late 70s and early 80s - AND take down the main factions of the mob while doing it.

Arrests still go on from this case as recent as last year. As strong as the film is - today this could've been like an extended HBO True Detective mini series to capture every bit of the book as it's intended.

The book (and movie) has that ultimate NYC late 70s/early 80s wild wild west feeling with the shadiest creatures of the night sneaking and skulking around every corner of a Manhattan and Brooklyn while Joe Pistone doesn't blink.

I lived in Marin and knew quite a few of the people mentioned in this book. I witnessed one of the crime sprees these two (Marlene Olive and Chuck Riley) went on after they committed the murders.

Yeah... those two deserve whatever evils will come their way in this lifetime and beyond.

    Chilling and horrible.

This is another good one about a guy from a prominent family who killed the governors secretary when she broke off an affair.
[IMG] This one too. About a group of wealthy high school athletes who rape the retarded girl in their grade. this happened near me when I was growing up. Total mess. Well written book.

It's insane. She's out, married with kids and a new identity. They seriously made a deal with the devil. Truly evil.
