Dark Knight > Civil War. Times 100.

Civil War was really good though.

Civil War was shit. The whole airport hangar scene is the very definition of gratuitous.

Fair enough, but the scene with Ant Man becoming Giant Man alone was worth the price of admission.

I love The Dark Knight but that one gaping plot hole still bothers me.

Bruce goes to a Harvey Dent party/fundraiser.

Joker crashes with a bunch of his goons.

Bruce quickly hides Harvey in a closet or something.

Joker threatens to kill guest if they don't reveal Harvey's whereabouts.

Batman enters, attacks Joker. They fight.

Joker grabs whatshername, Rachael, and throws her out the window. Batman dives after her. They land safely, she quips.

Then we cut to the next day or something. We cut?

But what happened next? Batman and Joker both went home? Why wouldn't Joker continue threatening/killing guests til Harvey revealed himself? Why would Batman not return to the apartment where innocents are being threatened? The Jokers in your house!! Did he just go home? And did the Joker just give up on looking for Harvey? If so, then both characters acted totally out of character.

I'm guessing that Joker used the opportunity to escape since he knew he couldn't defeat Batman in a fight. Why Batman didn't go after him, I have no clue.

Civil War should have stopped at the conference table scene. the 3 reasons for the accords, New York, Washington and Sokovia were not the avengers fault - New York & Washington were all because of SHEILD/HYDRA shennaigans and Sokovia was a Stark F'up. why the rest of them sat there and took the fall is beyond me.
