Great. I think this shit is 10x the strength of a 10mg hydrocodone (and yes its cool to say "Vicodin", but the drug you're actually taking is hydrocodone, vicodin is a brand name for hydros and unless you demand "Vicodin" you'll get generic hydrocodone). More drugs for people to get hooked on. Another big win for big Pharma.

I agree with you. Good people are getting scrutinized because of junkie assholes. But aren't there enough high potent painkillers out there? Do we really need more of them on the market? :dontknow:

Yeah, but they're ridiculously addictive. There has to be a better way at blocking pain than addictive pain killers. Why can't we block pain without making a person high? :bigthink

Exactly. We have lost our mind with many drug rules and regs.

Alcohol good. Tobacco Good. Pot Bad. Sudafed Bad???

I give it 6 months before the commercials for Sokolove Law Firm begin. "Have you developed diabetes since taking Zohydro? Loss of appetite? Bone loss? Blurred vision? Call Sokolove TODAY!"

Oh yeah. mark my words :coffee:

Dr. Sarno has the answer. The Mind-Body connection and Howard can vouch for him.

i took an oxy once for 'recreational' purposes and it made me sicker than I've ever been in my life. I don't know how people get over that and become addicted.....I guess I'm just a pussy when It comes to opiates, which I am thankful for.

Right, opiates used to be prescribed strictly for terminal patients mainly...I think in the early 90's the medical community realized that there was very little done for patients with chronic pain. Opiates were seen as a means of providing more of a substantive tool for these types of patients...Doctors were encouraged to do so.

As fla-fla says, it's just not the answer when something that blocks pain also lends itself to widespread abuse, dependency, and accidental death (not to mention people resorting to using Heroin now that the medical community has had to reel in over-prescribing them). It's essentially an epidemic.

I love the law firm / class action suit commercials for the testosterone drug that "may have caused you to grow breasts. Are you a man who grew breasts after taking ____?"

I'm like that too with most opiates. Vicodin, percoset, etc. I just feel sick to my stomach. Bleck.
