Finally saw Dark Knight Rises today... spoilers... awesome franchise

    I tried my damndest to avoid spoilers, etc for the past month. I think I did a pretty good job because I knew some plot points were going to happen but for the most part I still had a lot of surprises.

    The Ras Al Ghul connection was great. I think Hathaway did a good job despite how much she was panned in the critic reviews. The passing of the torch to Blake... it all made sense.

    I think it was a great wrap up to the greatest comic book franchise films of all time. I do think Nolan kind of copied the ending he gave to Inception, but it was still badass.

    And holy fuck, did Batman get the fuck beat out of him in that first match up with Bane.

    I waited about an equal time when Dark Knight came out... mostly because I hate fanboy geeds and the general public. But today it was about a 33% full IMAX showing, and I really enjoyed it.

    What a great trilogy. Two snaps up.

    I had a hard time understanding Bane. They should have changed his voice or used sub-titles. Entertaining movie though.

    The pre-screening reviews said the same thing. I think they re-dubbed a lot of his lines to make it more coherent.


    I wish his death had been a little more dramatic.

    I agree. Totally great. Who panned Hathaway, though? Pretty much every review I read said she was awesome -- including a few who said she was the best thing about it.

    I agree 100%, as well as your first post. I avoided reviews like the plaque. I finally found time to go see it with my dad last week and I thought it was great. I missed a few Bane words here and there as well, but at least you could get the gist.

    I really wanted his death to be something more too, but it was a decent chuckle. It was wrapped up great.

    I like how it was essentially passed down TWICE. The second setup was when Blake sat down with the orphan to tell him his brother had died. He'll remember meeting Blake just like Blake remembered meeting Bruce Wayne when he visited the orphanage.

    He got pink misted by the Bat cycle... dude was dead.

    His physical presence was awesome though. You could really believe he whipped Batman's ass.

    The passing of the torch on that angle was Bruce Wayne telling Blake that anyone could be Batman... if you're a billionaire with all the resources in the world at your finger tips.

    Story falls apart a bit there... but the point was the passing of the torch.

    Christ you are a fucking idiot, Hathaway wasn't widely panned in any critics reviews in fact she was highly praised but then again I have to realize you probably only read Guns N Ammo and Readers Digest.

    The ending was nothing like Inception it was completely clear and concise only a buttfucked moron would think it was cryptic.

    Still don't know how you fucks couldn't understand Bane both my wife and I loved the voice and Hardy was the perfect choice, best movie of the trilogy

    I understood him the second time I watched it, but the first time it was kinda hard to understand him in some parts.

    Great movie though.
