What the hell is happening to people that they're suddenly developing allergies to stuff like peanut butter???
    I love that stuff!
    Especially peanut butter ice cream.

I pick my little cousin up from school sometimes, and every room has a list of things on the door of food you can't bring in, except peanut butter cause that shit isn't allowed in anywhere.

    no oranges?????

They're killing me. I wasn't born with a silver spoon up my ass.......fuck.

Thankfully I think my way through - I'll make them hot dogs on toasted buns in the morning, or pogos, or hash browns.

If they ban potatoes and hot dogs, I'm going to have to home-school them.

When I was in school probably 60% of the kids had PB&J for lunch, shit is delicious.

I don't remember any kids growing up that had any peanut allergies. We never had to worry about what we brought to school or parties

Right? I had to choke back one of those sandwiches every day for lunch.

Now if I give my kids peanut butter in the morning, they've gotta wash their hands and face thoroughly, and brush their teeth a second time.

I entirely do not understand what occurred over the last 20 years, to make this happen.

The kids that are allergic are living past very early childhood, and making it into schools. Darwin hangs his head in shame.

What are the doing to (pea)nuts that's causing these kids to have allergic reactions?
Is it something in the processing?
I've read stories about some people being unable to breathe and breaking out in hives... crazyness (crazieness?)

I never had allergies and my kids didn't, either. I never had an issue at my school nor did they with items being banned. It does seem like there's been an explosion of allergies the last handful of years. :dontknow:

Unless you only eat it and breathe it too you're still affected. That's why everyone has Cancer and Asthma now too.
