A woman was caught on a Miami-Dade Police officer's bodycam trying to bribe the officer after she was pulled over for speeding, officials said. Margaret Garcia, 26, was arrested last month on charges of bribery and possession of cannabis, according to an arrest report. No attorney information was available. Garcia, listed as an entertainer in the report, was pulled over for speeding the night of June 19 in the area of 79th Street and Northwest 27th Avenue. When the officer approached her car, he smelled a strong odor of marijuana and saw a baggie of pot in plain view in the center cup console, the report said. Garcia, who had pulled the top of her dress down to expose her bra, was asked for her license and registration but tried to hand the officer money instead, the report said. The bodycam footage of the incident, posted on Slaterscoops.com, shows Garcia try to hand over the cash. "Ma'am that's money," the officer tells her. "I know," Garcia replies, later adding, "What do you want? I just to go home." As Garcia is placed in a police car, she spontaneous says the marijuana was for personal use, the report said. "That's personal use, come on, take me in," she says. "Yeah, personal use. What, What? I smoke weed. What?" Garcia was booked into jail and later released.
