A 23-year-old Florida woman decided to celebrate the end of her probation on a drug conviction by throwing a Xanax and weed-fueled rager for her underagefriends. Krystal Kurlowich told her mother that she was going to dinner, but instead hosted a shindig at the nearby North Fort Myers Travelodge at 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 21. The party included alcohol, marijuana, and other drugs as well as six teenage friends, NBC2 reported. The Lee County Sheriff's Office arrived after receiving a complaint from other hotel guests. Deputies also found a strobe light and glow sticks. Kurlowich was charged with six counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count of possession of drug equipment, the News-Press reported. The juveniles told deputies that Kurlowich had paid for the hotel room and bought alcohol so they could "chill and hang out." Lee County Sheriff's Office Krystal Kurlowich's mother said this is not her daughter's first brush with the law. They reportedly ran into the bathroom scared and flushed several drugs down the toilet. Officers searched purses belonging to the occupants of the room and found more marijuana in a pill bottle, Xanax , and Vyvanse, a central nervous system stimulant. Kurlowich has been released and sent to a mental health facility. She is set to appear in a court hearing on Dec. 8 A female juvenile, 15, was charged with a felony possession of a controlled substance. Four of the six teens were released to their parents and two others were charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.
