For me personally Low carb dieting does not work and it backfired on me bigtime twice

    when I was 23 and this year . the problem with low carb dieting is you can eat as much as you want and you go overboard with it. since you can not eat almost everything you start to develop cravings and when you finally get off of it you start eating those foods like a pig big time but your still eating as much as you want so it doesn't work. What worked for me is a low calorie diet. Watching your calorie intake and exeersiing made me lose over 80 pounds and I kept it off . It did not happen as fast as low carb but I was able to keep the weight off. Im still trying to recover from my low carb diet from erliar this year and im stuggl8ing on my portion control and dieting.YOU HAVE TO MAKE A FULL LIFESTYLE CHANGE WHEN IT COMES TO EXERSICING AND DIETING NO FAD DIET CAN FIX THAT. just my two cents about the whole thing.

    You are obviously addicted to carbs and the crap in processed foods. It's a vicious cycle.

    I just weighed myself for you ive been avoiding it......im 190 right back where i started january 7th . the first day of my diet :facepalm:

    Well sounds like the low carb diet works, but then you blow it when you stop dieting. That's not the fault of the diet. The fact is that low carb is much much easier to lose weight on because (1) the chemical effect of depriving the body of carbs; and (2) its easier to stick to because there is no portion control, which can be difficult to deal with in terms of your hunger.

    Matthew T is right though you get sluggish from low carb diet. If you are working out regularly, you will definitely see a drop in your stamina.
