I don't find myself on the east coast often, so haven't flown out of NYC in years. Choice between 8:00 PM flight out of either airport on a Friday. Will be leaving from around Bayside. Price is the same, which is easier option? Howard related because he won't be anywhere around the city as this will be on a Friday and therefore, Day 2 of his 4 day weekend.

Consider White Plains/Westchester if you prefer to avoid NYC traffic and bullshit. Small airport.

Bayside is only a few minutes from LGA. Why drive all the way out to JFK?

    Neither is the correct answer.

This. Both NYC airports are disasters! If possible fly into Newark. It's just as easy to get into the city from there.

Looks like it could be 6 of 1, half dozen of another. JFK doesn't look much further, but imagine could be a mess. Thx.

Both are antiquated pieces of garbage that the state should be ashamed of let alone the city

Where are you going afterwards and what time will you be landing?

    Is Newark a consideration?

LGA is a better view of the city.

Good point - I actually don't think Howard has been on a commercial flight in at least 20 years

So true. I think Laguardia was voted the worst airport to fly into by pilots around the world.

LGA is a huge cluster fuck. And a super shit-hole.

JFK if you must fly out of NYC. Westchester if at all possible

LGA has the worst on time rating and most delays, but JFK is too big. You're in bayside....LGA

No one is even going to mention Islip?? (...it's only an hour drive away.)

    OK OK..I keed..I keed.

LGA or JFK?......it's kind of close..leaning more towards JFK.....but the specific airline being flown might matter and make the difference.

My overall preference has always been JFK first and LGA second....with Newark always being a consideration depending upon my location(s).

Overall....from Bayside.....I would have to probably point you more towards JFK.

It also kind of depends on exactly where in Bayside......but the little extra distance involved with
going to JFK could end up being nothing major. You stand a chance of hitting traffic going
to either airport.....depending upon the time of day and direction etc.

Most every time I fly into or out of LGA....I say never again.
I have never (seriously) said that about JFK....but there have been a few "moments".
