    Hello people,

Umm...what happened today? I worked a bit, did some laundry, Mario learned that the people at McDonalds are dummies, Schmoopy gave me negative rep, blairg had cocks on the mind, and Sweetie was away for the evening, so I made this dinner for myself.

    On Tonight's Menu:

Corned Beef Sandwich & Fries - Corned Beef(made the night before for sandwiches) on Light Rye, Tomatoes, Spicy Mustard with Seasoned Fries(store bought) and Frog Ranch Pickles on the side...

...and a dedication, Sweetie's all-time favorite solo artist, its Billy Idol with "Sweet Sixteen":

Talk about your food, your music, you know the drill.

I'll be having a beer very soon and I hope everyone's having an excellent Monday and if you went through the drive thru for dinner, I hope they got you order right. Take it easy, ladies and gentlemen! :toptip:

    Mr. Clutch! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Yes, I have quite a few, but its probably somewhere between 6 and 8 different types. The stuff I have the most of are probably Hot Sauces or Pickled Vegetables.

Normally I would have, but I wasn't feeling it.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to FranciscoTheMan again.

It wasn't the best I've ever had admittedly, but I bought it to try it out, probably wouldn't buy it again. I like my rye quite pungent, and this one was a bit weak.

It was Beefsteak Light Rye Bread in case you're wondering.

Love corn beef. Tonight I made low carb pancakes. I didnt think they would do the job but Wow were they good i made 3 and saved the rest of the batch for later I am going to have some chicken wings later.

[IMG]1 (8 oz) block of cream cheese
    5 eggs
    1 T Splenda
    1 t Vanilla Extract
    Vegetable oil for frying

btw I think whoever wrote this recipie is low class.

the directions tell you to "Plop" it in there. It just sounds trashy and I automatically think the person was cooking with a Cigarette in their mouth with unwashed hands when they wrote it. I'm not plopping anything.

I didn't go to culinary school, but the chef I trained under did in Europe. I don't think he ever learned to "plop" food when he was there either.

"Plop" reminds me of poop. :D

I hate that, I always end up repping people for no good reason just to get back to the people I actually want to.

I only eat whole wheat. I'm not the biggest fan of rye for some reason.

I always have people in a rep rotation as a basis, then I rep funny or nice people too.

Its not for everyone I suppose. I love a good Wheat Bread with Wheat Berries or Flax Seeds. :buffet:

i loves me a good corned beef an spicy mustard on rye sandwich, cuz. good shit.

i had leftover tomato bisque an i used up the rest of the baguette making small garlic cheese toasts again. i also made thai chicken that was delish. easy as pie, too. 2 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp seasame oil, 1/2 cup of cilantro, an 2 cloves of coarsely chopped garlic. i put it in a food processor until well blended an the cilantro was minced an then poured it over the chicken an marinated for about 30 minutes before putting it under the broiler for about 8 minutes per side.

i also posted this in a dinner thread at sfn. not trying to rip you off. i just know you don't post there much anymore.
