do you miss Sirius? Not just Stern, but all of the other channels? I'm very close to cancelling, but am afraid I will miss all of the other channels. I think I could do without Howard, and am just wondering if anyone has "cancellers remorse".

Can't you just drop Howard & keep the rest of Sirius.
Isn't he an extra $4 or something or part of the premium package....

I was so disgusted with the Stern show I dropped Sirius after having it for around 8 years and switched to an XM radio so I could listen to Ron & Fez and O&A. The XM hardware is far superior as are the aforementioned shows. I currently listen to H100 via "unconventional" means. The show is so bad though that it isn't even worth stealing. I find myself constantly listening to a 2 week old O&A stream as opposed to the live Stern show.

There's a lot to dislike about SiriusXM, but I still really enjoy the service. I was a very early adopter (back in 2003) because I moved (temporarily) to a rural area where there were only 2 radio stations--one with country music, the other with Mexican accordion shit. Sirius was a life saver.

If they'd just fucking cap their subscription at $8 a month they'd be golden. Asking people to shell out $17 (or whatever it is) is just bullshit. I'm tired of negotiating with them, but they always cave when you do.

When my antenna crapped out I was debating about replacing it and just canceling. I did miss the music stations though so I had the antenna replaced. I haven't listened to Stern a in at least six months though and don't miss him in the least.

I feel as if I am receiving fair value for the free internet trial sub - still listen to Ferrall and some of the music channels when I can, although I haven't tuned in to a segment of the HSS since my car radio sub expired earlier this year.

Sirius is the worst company I've ever dealt with.
Use pandora and have never even thought about it

Just my 2 cents. I do like the service but the music channels are getting really repetitive with their selection. Same songs over and over.

I cancelled a couple of years ago because of the failure of the Stern show. Stern was the only reason I got sirius and I don't miss the other channels one bit. I download all my favorite music onto my iphone so I can hear whatever I want when I want. No regrets at all. This site making fun of Stern and his second wife has more than made up for the failure of the Stern show. :cheer:

This. I cancelled the week that ended up being Artie's last. The show just wasn't good anymore and I stopped listening to entire shows about 2 months after that. If you have a decent phone, you don't need anything else. I download the shows I want (not Stern) and there are PLENTY of music apps available, not to mention my entire music collection available on cloud service.

Yes, this is a good point.
I hear the same exact loops over & over each weekend, including the DJs intros & quirky stories.

no. cancelled last january. sirius is one big fucking scam, just like the koam and his bullshit and lies just to get richer. there are plenty of old clips on youtube that remind you when the show was good.
fuck him and the polish whorse he rode in on.

I subscribe for Jay Thomas and the other channels, not Howard.

I only listen in my car, it was turned ff for a week and I was losing my mind. I was listening to local radio and omg....harrible. I tried to get a deal throwing Howard under the bus, they didn't care. They offered a year for 98$ I took it. Probably not a deal.

No remorse. And pandora is far superior to Sirius music programming. If you don't have cell service/smart phone I understand you have a dilemma.

I still listen when I'm in the car, I just dont comute anymore so I get ten minutes here and there and it's seems to always be the same segment. I actually never heard the death row guy before. That was pretty crazy today. I'll have to look around board to see what happened to him....did they follow up...I assume he's dead.
