Sorry for the spoiler but no, Shuli did not make the cut:
A few observations:
You can make a lot of money as a comic even if no one knows who you are. There are at least three comics on this list that I have never heard of.
Aziz Ansari shows that if you can talk in a high pitch squeal that you can make bank.
Kevin Hart shows that you can make a lot of money having everyone think you are hilarious yet no one can remember one funny thing you said or one TV show or movie you were in that was any good.
Has Stern ever mentioned Seinfeld's $160 million deal with Hulu? I'll bet it makes him insane with jealousy.
Two of 'em are puppet acts, ventriloquists. Number one got there from selling the rights to a show he made, what, ten years ago?
I think since Howard figure out that he was made a fool of in Comedians Having Coffee in Cars, he has never mentioned Jerry again.
Jokeman came in 11 th. 32,000$
Shuli came in last with an Applebee's gift card
More like the top 10 overrated comedians. Louie is alright, and chappelle's time has come and gone. Kevin Hart is a successful shuli.
The fact Aziz making 10 million a year is just fucking sad.
Where is Carrot top??
Good for Seinfeld for finding a buyer who places that much value on his show! Whenever I see a rerun of Seinfeld on TV, more often than not I think to myself "this has not held up well over time"
I just did not understand that deal. "Seinfeld" is on free all day long on regular TV. Plus it is not a marathon-type show. Someone can just pick it up anywhere in the series. That, and everyone who cares has seen every episode 10 times by now.
I knew it was going to be depressing but Gabriel Iglesias and Anziz Ansari were like a punch to the gut.
I expected the hacks like Russel Peters, Jeff Dunham, and Terry Fator
I assume John Bishop is horrendous also.
The list and estimates seem to be based on who the list authors remember being in comedy recently and how much they assume the comedian earned in a year. Everything is so vague and doesn't seem to be based on any kind of factual evidence. First clue is, in fact, that Carrot Top is never on any of these lists. He has been one of the top earning comics for the past 20 years but people who haven't visited Vegas in a while forget about him. Second clue with this list is that Larry the Cable Guy isn't on it. Also, we are led to believe that Gabriel Iglesias and Aziz Ansari make that much from their tours considering they probably made very little from their side ventures?
Good to see no more Larry the Cable Guy, I also can't wait for the Fluffy thing to go away it may have been funny for 1 stand up special but its annoying as shit. Russell Peters always makes the top of these lists for some reason he is huge internationally and owns like 14 houses
