There were claims that he used part of that big loan to make himself a birthday party that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Given his harrible score on the Wonderlic test, it's no surprise Vince wasn't too skilled at managing his finances.

Avg QB Wonderlich score is 24. Janitors avg 14. Somehow I think Gary from Portland and Wendy from Orlando could beat Vince's "6"

He made more money in a year than most people make in a lifetime.

At the peak of his career, Young earned an annual salary of $8.5 million and his career earnings are at least 60 million...plus endorsements.

"Vince Young spent $5k per week at Cheesecake Factory"

"Young once spent $6,000 in a single sitting at T.G.I. Fridays."

"He'd do $600 shots of Louis XIII de Remy Martin at Morton's after games."

Add in a fleet of cars, mansions, boats, giving money to friends, etc......BROKE.

I promised myself I would never say a bad word about that man when he crossed the goal line against USC. Best game I've ever seen anyone play.
