I didn't hear it but wonder if his trying to be funny is actually upset inside. This is the guy who has shown no respect for Gary's mourning of his father.

The Lars interview could have been a lot better if Howard would shut up and let Lars finish a sentence. Howard is rapid firing questions, like he is reading and not letting the guests finish answer them. He has been doing this a lot lately. He had Slash blurt out, "you wont even let me finish". He didn't say it joking, he was serious. Then I guess just today Gerard Butler told him the same thing.

Yep , Gerard Butler did say that today. Like you said , He's been doing that a lot. It gets annoying when your waiting for them to finish answering a question and Howard cut's them off and rifle's another question at them.

so it wasn't even a member of Fred's family that died? kinda lame to miss work over that, but whatever.

did they say who exactly died?

if it was a member of his wife's immediate family, he should take the day off just because his wife would likely need him there.

If Beth's neighbor's dog-sitter's mailman died, you better believe Howard would take off to be with his beloved. :c

Someone on the phone said that it was Fred's brother in-law but Howard said he didn't want to say who it was.
