where's the poll
I like the old Fred. He's lost his edge.
We all do as we age bro.
The old Fred rocked. He added so much to the show.
Jackie and him provided so much content it's unreal. The Bachelor Party, Rainbow Room, Tony and Tina's Wedding etc. All gold.
So much good stuff back then. The Rainbow Room is radio gold. That was real and Fred was pissed. Love that stuff.
I'm listening to the whole thing and Robin is I, I, I, I, I.
Haha. I probably should've made one. There's so many great comments from him.
SO did Daniel Carver.
The show was so alive back then.
Like the Artie-hate, I'll never understand the Fred-love. He's a thin-skinned, touchy hillbilly cuckold who happened to have a knack for sound fx. He's never been funny, at least not live on the air, unless he's melting down. That's not a talent; that's just mental illness.
And I've got a sneaky feeling it's not that great of a talent to play sound fx. Not if the clips are organized so you can play 'em quickly. If they're talking about sex, play a sex clip. If a tragic story is covered, play a Jackie laugh. It seems downright obvious when you think about it.
Speaking of Jackie, does Fred still hold a grudge against him? I remember Fred used to be bothered that Jackie wanted the "head writer" credit (even though he was the head writer). So what did Fred do when Jackie moved on?
And why'd they have to hire Benjy in the first place, if Fred was such a scary-good writer? When you think about it, Fred being so lame as a writer could have cursed us with Benjy.
Kurt Waldheim Jr.
He lost it when Jackie left . He was never the same again.
Fla-fla's fat monkey ass...
All good points . You changed my mind . Fuck Fred
I always liked his impressions, my favorite was his Herman Munster/Nicole Bass which was always funny, I liked his Kurt Voldhiem, when he did his French accent and made fun of the French. The cookie puss bit was gold. Back in the day he was a very funny and important part of the show. He, like Howie, has changed, whether because of age, or Marci, or just the show in general, but one of the things I still like listening to on YouTube is old shows News segments, for his drops. I also used to love how he would drop "how's your news?" Retard song right before Robin started her first news story.
I believe he did. I think it was for the gary roast or something like that where Jackie came in and they both sang a parody song they wrote. During that show he mentioned he was angry with Jackie but he's over it.
Been so long i forgot
