Mods, if this is not allowed, please remove.

I just got an email from AVG to renew my AVG antivirus and they'd upgrade me to Internet Security 15. It was $54.99.

Since I've seen rebates that make it free, I wasn't about do that. So I did a quick search and found this place offering AVG internet security 15 for free. It's really a 365 day free trial but it's full function. The Internet security has a whole bunch more features than the regular free antivirus. If you are just using a free antivirus, this is a big improvement in protection.

I've been using AVG for a couple of years. I've tried most of the others and liked AVG the best. The price is right too.

I did the custom install and it didn't try to get me to download any browsers or browser add ons. It didn't ask for a credit card number. It did subscribe me to their newsletter but I'm assuming that will be easy to unsubscribe.

It's the 2015 version despite the URL.

If anyone sees a "catch" please respond.

If you click on "Fix Performance" they try to get you to buy their tune up product. There are countless free products out there that do just as good a job. I use CCcleaner.
