Saw an ad on TV tonite for free S/XM to anyone with a car that has the satellite set up.
Even if you cancelled in the past, it is back on until Dec 2nd.
Don't know if this will work on the portable units.

Free is fine, as long as they don't have your credit card on file.

One of my cars has XM only. During the time of the birthday show, they gave everyone free Sirius during that time and when the free period was over, they never turned it off. I got Best of Sirius for free for four months until my free trial subscription ran out. What are the odds the forget to turn it off again this time around.

BTW, it is interesting that they are doing a free trial membership like this on a week when Howard is off and they are running Best of shows.

My Sirius was turned back on and interestingly enough the free promo does NOT include Howard's channel.
    :haha:

Have you seen the douchebaggery that amazon now employs when your prime membership expires? If your credit card on file expires, they will search your purchase history for other cards you've used and charge one of those

I noticed the same thing in my wife's car. SiriusXM has lost its relevance. Their signal is not good, the bandwidth is too small - still not CD quality. - and as Howard has proven over time, the content DOES NOT exist to make subscribers pay.

I'll wait for my Internet connected car, thank you.

If you were a sucker and bought Sirius stock - well you know the rest.

Paper billing only! Although the fuckers charge you for this, it's better than cancelling your credit card.
