    was..
"John Scofield & Taj Mahal Celebrate Muddy Waters"

    but....
    Jazz at Lincoln Center
Unfortunately, Taj Mahal has severe stomach flu and will not be able to perform tonight at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Taj is under ordered bed rest from his doctor and is extremely disappointed not to be able to make this celebration of Muddy Water's 100th birthday concert. However, the show will go on. Legendary jazz guitarist John Scofield will lead a group of all-star Chicago blues artists that Taj and John hand-picked and features Muddy Waters' son on vocals and guitar, Big Bill Morganfield, along with Kevin "Beedy Eyes" Smith on drums, the son of Muddy's longtime drummer, Willie "Big Eyes" Smith.

    but should still be stellar

Thanks. I knew this was going on but didn't know it would be broadcast.

I really wish I would have gotten a chance to see muddy before he passed.

They are doing it again tomorrow night. No word if Taj will be there or not yet.
